Switch from Flipdish
Leave Flipdish without a day offline.
We move your menu for you in 48 hours, run your new site alongside Flipdish while you test it, and switch over when your notice period ends.
- Menu moved in 48 hours
- Runs alongside your contract
- Keep your web address
Your customers keep ordering the whole way through.
No retyping and no gap in service. Your Flipdish site keeps taking orders until the day you switch.
The 48-hour move
From call to switch-over, step by step.
- Before
Find your renewal date
Check when your Flipdish term ends and when your notice window opens. Send us the agreement if you like, and we’ll help you read the dates.
- Day 0
A 15-minute call
We look at your current menu, how you deliver and the dates we need to work around.
- Day 1
We import your menu
Categories, items, options, prices, opening hours, logo and colours come across from your public Flipdish pages. You check it; we fix anything that’s off.
- Day 2
Your new site is ready
Your team learns the screens and places test orders, while Flipdish keeps taking the real ones.
- Switch-over
Your customers move with you
When your notice period ends, we point your web address at OrdFox and help you tell your regulars where to order.
What we need
A short list from you.
Most of it takes minutes. We tell you exactly where to find each one.
Your Flipdish ordering link
The public page where customers order today. That’s where we import your menu from.
Delivery fees and zones
They aren’t public on Flipdish, so we set them up with you.
Access to your domain
If you own your web address, we point it at your new site and talk you through the DNS change. If you don’t have one, we help you get one in your name.
A Stripe account
Card payments go into your own Stripe account. If you don’t have one yet, we help you open it.
Your Apple developer account
For Professional and Complete. If your app is published under your own account, the new version can often go out as an update to the same App Store listing.

Still in a contract?
Run both, then switch.
Flipdish’s standard terms run for 12 months and renew automatically for another 12, unless you give written notice at least 3 months before the end. Leaving early can carry a fee. Your own agreement may differ.
Give written notice before the last three months begin.
Your OrdFox site can run alongside Flipdish while you test it, so the day your term ends is just the day you switch.

Questions owners ask us
Do I have to wait until my Flipdish contract ends?
You can set up OrdFox and test it while Flipdish is still running. We'll plan the switch-over date around your notice period, so you're never offline.
Do my customers need to download a new app?
It depends on whose Apple developer account your app is published under. If it's yours, the new version can often ship as an update to the same listing. We'll check this with you on the call.
Does OrdFox work with my receipt printer?
Orders can be printed from the browser on a printer connected to your tablet or computer. Direct integration with specific receipt printer models isn't available yet, so tell us your model and we'll check it with you before you switch.
What happens to my customer list?
As the restaurant, you can ask Flipdish for an export of your customer data. New customers who order through OrdFox are on your own customer list, with marketing consent captured at checkout.
